I learned Polish with Kasia for 3 years. She is really an amazing teacher. She is super kind, explains everything in a clear and relaxed way. Polish grammar, vocabulary and especially pronunciation is pretty difficult – but it doesn’t feel that way when Kasia teaches you. The classes are playful which makes it easier to learn. Kasia has a lot of patience with her students and provides personal support for any level. You can see that she is very involved with her students and she really wants the best for all of us.
I was extremely glad having Sandra as a teacher because of her professional way of teaching and introducing difficult stuff like grammar and pronunciation. She lets you feel the language. The incredible combinations of sounds and consonants that Polish contains suddenly become something you start to understand and fall in love with. Sandra provides very interesting topics to discuss and interactive tasks that make a unique atmosphere during lessons. She takes into account your individual understanding and specific difficulties, and leads you to positive results which you can test when you try to speak with native speakers.
For 2 years, I took Polish classes with Kasia. The lessons were always very open and easy to connect with. Even without proper knowledge of the Polish language, I could understand what she was saying and explaining to me. Kasia works in a creative way and always tries to give personal guidance. I learned more about Poland and the Polish language by the means of fun facts, songs and interesting stuff from everyday Polish life.
Sandra taught me Polish for 4 years. I’ve never had a better language teacher and Polish is my 5th language! I think her superpower is figuring out exactly what her student needs and then catering her lessons to just that!
Thanks to the lessons of Kasia (Katarzyna) I made some real progress with my Polish. From the very start she teaches almost exclusively in Polish, which also motivates the students to immediately start using Polish.
I’m a senior Belgian citizen and I decided to learn Polish with Sandra at KU Leuven. I followed her classes starting from beginner’s level to intermediate/advanced level and I enjoyed them all the way.
At beginner’s level we were taught the essentials of grammar (believe me or not: Polish is slightly 
more complicated than English) and we learned enough vocabulary as to be able to reasonably cope in every day life. The exercises were a good mix of listening, speaking, reading and writing – and the didactic methods Sandra used were resourceful, creative and varied. Moreover, we expressed ourselves in Polish (we had to 
) as far as we were able to at this level.
Gradually, as we had mastered the essentials of Polish grammar and vocabulary, we were presented with more demanding issues: the vocabulary was more abstract, the conjugation of the verbs 
more intricate, the texts less simplified. Still, Sandra found a way to make even difficult matters attractive.
Learning any language is a long and difficult process, but Kasia adapts her courses perfectly to your level. The subjects were not only interesting, but also challenging enough to push you a little bit further every class. Kasia puts the stress on dialogue and everyday situations, using real radio broadcasts and articles from Polish newspapers and magazines. So not only did I learn loads of relevant vocabulary and expressions, I also gained a really good insight in Polish culture and history. As a student of Kasia, I believe it’s safe to say that I significantly improved my skills in Polish language and I now feel more comfortable speaking to native speakers.
Sandra is very professional, punctual and lessons are always ready and tailored for me. She is a very skillful educator. Her adaptable and flexible style of teaching is extremely effective always gearing her lessons to meet my needs. Sandra is extremely patient and is often able to change her lesson mid-flow when and if the need arises. Nothing is too much for her. She consistently has a positive and caring attitude towards her work. When I am struggling to grasp a concept, Sandra has the ability to explain things from different angles. I would recommend Sandra without reservation.
